Determining the Location of a Wholesale Pulse Business Branch with ANP and TOPSIS Methods

Khabi Bunajjar, Achmad Solichin

Abstract-This study aims to build a decision support system that can assist companies in determining branch locations. The method used in this study is the ANP (Analytical Network Process) and TOPSIS (Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution) methods. The ANP method is used to determine the weight of criteria by taking into account the interdependence effect between criteria, while TOPSIS is used for ranking alternative locations. The results of this study is a decision support system that is used to determine the location of branches based on ten criteria. The test results show that the system can provide alternative solutions for branch locations as consideration in determining branch locations.

Gamma Ray Radiation Effect For Data Transmission And Current Consumption  On Embedded System ATMEGA 8
Bina Pratomo

Abstract-Radiation is one of satellite electronic embedded system space environment endurance characteristics which can make physical hardware and electrical state damage and gamma ray is one of radiatiion ray from the solar that has energetic photon. This paper will explain the gamma ray effect which produced from Cobalt 60  to current consumption and data accuracy of an electronic circuit, the greater the radiation dose that hit the circuit its increase current consumption 55.25 mA and the data sent is corrupted average 28 from 100 characters each row.

Improving the Service Quality of Higher Education Institutions: Special reference to Information Systems
D.N.T.Gunawardhana

Abstract —The objective of this research was to study the contribution of information Systems towards improving the service quality of higher education institutions. Enhancing the service quality of information systems has become a premier requirement in higher education institutions because it has given a considerable weight for its own strategic plan. Quality is the backbone of higher education, and Information Systems help to keep it straight without drawbacks. The well-established Information Systems has been identified as a key tool to improve the service quality of higher education institutions in this context in the information age.

Readiness for “Social Learning Management System” (Social LMS) in Sri Lankan Universities: A case study research based on the students’ perspectives

D.N.T.Gunawardhana, Chandana Perera

Abstract- This is a multiple case study research based on two universities in Sri Lanka. Undergraduate students in the University of Colombo and the University of Moratuwa were included in the population and the sample method employed for the data collection in this research was Stratified Purposive Sampling. Learning Management System has become a support system of vital importance in higher education.  Social Learning Management System is formed because of the Collaborative Learning methods in an online learning environment. The findings reveal that the willingness of undergraduate students to work in the social network environment for learning and grouping.
