A Novel Approach to Enhance the Security of Keys Shared by Users in WLAN Environments Using 3DES Algorithm

Abstract-This paper aims at employing 3DES algorithm to prevent Man-in-the-middle (MITM)  attack on keys shared by users in wireless local area network (WLAN) environments. Due to the broadcast nature of radio propagation, wireless communications are vulnerable to different malicious attack by both authorized and illegitimate users. Wireless communications provide users many benefits such as portability and flexibility, increased performance, and lower installation costs, but it also coupled with security threats.


An Automated Framework for finding Fake Accounts on Facebook

Abstract-This research proposes a framework for identifying fake profiles on Facebook. A prototype system was also developed for testing purposes. The research work included an extensive survey from 500 Facebook users. This was useful towards understanding the nature of fake profiles.

 

Ranking of Web Pages Using Aggregation of Page Rank and HITS Algorithm

Abstract-. In this paper a new web page ranking algorithm Aggregate PageRank (APR) is proposed which calculates the importance score of web pages by considering both the links and contents on the web page. The Proposed methodology is implemented using MATLAB and experiments are conducted on various academic sites. The proposed method gives higher accuracy of results in calculating the importance score of web pages.

Studying the location based Unpredicted Impact Factors (UIF) affecting the resultant frequent item sets

Abstract —This survey study aims at giving an overview of how to identify the impacts when some unpredicted (unforeseen) changes happening such as banning a particular product or brand, allegation on particular manufacture, rumors that impacts/affects the sales etc. It attempts to identify, categorize and measure the impacts, then strive to find a solution for these challenges.

 

Visualization of Symptom based Disease Prognosis using K-means algorithm

Abstract- The goal of this paper is to develop a website using data mining technique like K-means clustering algorithm that can be used to predict the occurrence of diseases based on user input symptoms. The proposed system presents a disease prognosis strategy to diagnose diseases using symptoms, in an efficient way that supports historical data set of previous patients.
