A Control and Security System for Internal Temperature Breaches using the ATMEL AT89C52 Microcontroller

AbstractThis research project experiments with the development of a working prototype for a control and security system for securing against internal temperature breaches using the Atmel AT89C52 microcontroller integrated circuit. The prototype is built from scratch and tested with a miniaturized fan / blower system, and the prototype was able to drive the load, resulting in changes in the environmental temperature.

 

Feature Selection from Brain Stroke CT Images based on Particle Swarm Optimization

Abstract This paper proposes an automatic method to detect stroke region using Computed Tomography (CT) images. selecting a subset of features from a huge set for segmenting ischemic brain stroke in CT images , is a challenging problem . The proposed method consists of extracting 92 features and using heuristic algorithms to cope with complexity of feature selection.

 

Comparative study of Naïve Bayes, Support Vector Machine and Random Forest Classifiers in Sentiment Analysis of Twitter feeds

AbstractWe performed Sentiment analysis on a standard Movie reviews Twitter feed dataset to investigate the three prominent supervised learning classifiers: Naïve Bayes, Support Vector Machine (SVM) and Random Forest, and hence determine the most accurate of them based on the results obtained for positive and negative polarity tweets.

 

Towards an efficient smart space architecture

AbstractIn this paper, we discuss three main indicators of quality design for smart spaces that are strongly related to the context modules and reasoning process: functionality, reusability and changeability. A general layered architecture system is presented to define the principal components that should constitute any context aware adaptive system.

Abstract - In this paper two dimensional fractional Fourier-Mellin transform is extended in the distributional generalized sense. Analyticity of the distributional generalized two dimensional fractional Fourier-Mellin transform is proved.
